DEAR DEBBY - 4/1/07

Dear Debby is taking a break today and maybe next week too. I'm looking for advice for myself as I try to maneuver my way through a long standing problem that has resurfaced with a vengeance. It's far easier to be an outsider looking in at someone else's problems than it is to be smack dab in the middle of your own mess. And although I welcome words of wisdom and all the advice I know good intentions can offer, I ultimately know that I am the only one who can decide what is best for me. So while I figure out what I need to do for Debby, I imagine there's little advice I'm going to be able to offer anyone else. Until the next time, take care of yourselves!

My heart and prayers go out to you as you work your way through whatever you are dealing with.

One of my favorite lines from a song, come from the new Mary, Mary album.

"If you tell me to go, I will, because I love you that much. If you tell me to stay and be still, I will, because I love you that much."

In other words, make sure your soul is open to WHATEVER He may want you to do, even if it is not what you think you want for yourself.

Listen my friend to the voice of God. When he speaks, all answers will be revealed.

Thank you both very much. It took me a minute but I'm there and I'm listening and as I'm hearing, I can feel the weight slowly being lifted. Please keep me in prayer as I continue to work my way through and see my way clear.
